[8/26/22, SAN ANTONIO, TX.] – Firefighters & EMS Fund is proud to be a sponsor of the 2022 Fire Rescue International Conference in San Antonio, Texas. The Fire Rescue International Conference is an annual event put on by the International Association of Fire Chiefs and brings together thousands of the most prominent fire and emergency service leaders from across North America and around the globe to learn, network and collaborate together.

This year the event ran from August 24th-26th and fire departments from around the country gathered together to learn about new products and services to better protect their communities. Our Executive Director and Board of Directors attended the event, noting “The IAFC really knows how to put on a great event. It was good to see so many people in person after enduring isolation brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. Next year is sure to be even better!”

Firefighters & EMS Fund was honored to be able to support this conference and looks forward to continuing their relationship with the IAFC and other vital first responder organizations and entities. “These organizations do so much for our brave men and women on the frontlines. The support is so needed within this field. We thank you for the services you provide and the fire community you have created,” a Fire & EMS Fund board member commented at the conclusion of the event. 

Firefighters & EMS Fund is a nonprofit political organization that provides a grassroots voice for firefighters across the country in the state and local political process. Our Mission at the Fire & EMS fund is to provide a political voice to the many great Fire & EMS personnel who bravely serve our communities. We work to change that through a grassroots effort meant to empower these communities and advocate for their needs. As a grassroots organization we believe success begins at the local level and believe that can be accomplished through helping citizens make an impact at the ballot box, raising awareness on the issues to local officials, and engaging the public on local issues which affect them and their communities.
