Earlier this month, members of Firefighters and EMS Fund had the privilege of attending the Fire Rescue International Conference in New Orleans. The International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), who hosts the event, represents the leadership of firefighters and emergency responders worldwide.

This was the first time that members of Firefighters and EMS Fund attended such a large event, and we were humbled by the positive reception we received at our booth over the course of the conference. Firefighters and EMS Fund is dedicated to advocating for the safety and well-being of firefighters and their families in our political process. We seek to bring to light the many challenges that firefighters and EMS professionals face every day and how those challenges should be addressed in the realm of public policy. We were excited and encouraged to receive so many positive responses to our mission at this prestigious event from Emergency response leaders across the country.

Our leadership team will continue to attend events such as IAFC in the hopes of expanding our coalition of emergency response professionals to provide a united voice for these brave public servants in the public policy process.
